Cozy little family neighborhood. Street is busy but quiet. Close to downtown and several parks

Guest Access

Backyard is for the upstairs tenants. We ask you respect their privacy. Front porch is also theirs. Apartment door is on the side of the house down the driveway. Entire apartment is yours. No outdoor space available but we are quick walk downtown or to several parks. The neighborhood is also just lovely to go for a walk.

This is my third time staying in Port Hope and I just love it. Doug’s place was quiet, and close to everything in town. If he has availability the next time I’m in town I will definitely be booking again.

I rarely leave reviews, but this stay genuinely exceeded my expectations. Doug and Kiki exemplify what it means to go above and beyond. As a solo traveller with limited connections to family, their support meant the world. They were always just a call away, making me feel cared for and at ease. After three months on the road, their place was the first that truly felt like home. Kiki, in particular who I dealt with mostly, is such a kind and generous soul she went out of her way to help with even the smallest things, and her thoughtfulness left a lasting impression. I already miss this place and will absolutely be staying here again on future trips to Canada. Thank you so much Doug & Kiki. You are great people. Xx

Really nice, newly renovated, clean apartment, with everything you might need. We stayed with our two kids and they even have a high chair for the little one. Doug and Kiki are really friendly and proactive in their communication. We left a small toy behind and the they were kind enough to drop it off at my sister's house.

I booked a weekend getaway in Port Hope and this exceeded my expectations, the air bnb is just a 2 minute drive to everything you need - the beach, restaurants, the 401. Also only 15mins from Cobourg! Doug and Kiki were very responsive, the space was clean and provided everything needed for myself. I would book with Doug and Kiki again in the future :)

This was the perfect location for my needs. Walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants and waterfront trail. Easy access of hwy 401 and hwy 2. Lots of light, comfortable furnishings in living room and bedroom and a good working space. Thanks for a great stay!

Doug’s place was perfect for my needs during some work travel. Quiet, comfortable, incredibly clean and had all the amenities I needed. Communication was always a breeze and I’ll definitely look to stay again when I’m in the area with clients.

Nicely kept place! Accommodating host. Bed and pillows seemed like a dense foam—on the firmer side if you like that. Nice big bath towels! Appreciated the extra blankets for curling up on the couch, too. Plenty of space for two. The guests above had kids and pets that were loud in the early morning, but otherwise very it was a very nice stay in a convenient neighborhood.

Had a terrific four-night stay in Port Hope at Doug’s apartment. The space is lovely and like new. The kitchen is well equipped. The bed is super comfortable. Enjoyed walks in the surrounding neighbourhood and into the downtown and along the waterfront trails. A great spot to stay when visiting and exploring the area.

First off the price was a steal, and what lured me in. But once I arrived I was amazed by the kitchen. It was a nice change being able to cook or have a hot coffee/tea rather than having to go out. And don’t get me started on the couch, my wife wants one now. But overall, for someone who’s constantly working away from home, this was the perfect place to be after work. I felt comfortable, and at home.
