This is my third time staying in Port Hope and I just love it. Doug’s place was quiet, and close to everything in town. If he has availability the next time I’m in town I will definitely be booking again.

The photo’s of this airbnb do no do it justice, it was a great location, a stunning outdoor space and a beautifully renovated and well kept interior. Would happily stay here again!

I rarely leave reviews, but this stay genuinely exceeded my expectations. Doug and Kiki exemplify what it means to go above and beyond.
As a solo traveller with limited connections to family, their support meant the world. They were always just a call away, making me feel cared for and at ease. After three months on the road, their place was the first that truly felt like home.
Kiki, in particular who I dealt with mostly, is such a kind and generous soul she went out of her way to help with even the smallest things, and her thoughtfulness left a lasting impression.
I already miss this place and will absolutely be staying here again on future trips to Canada.

The Bickle Hill House was a great spot for our group getaway (our group’s top pick ever)! This charming farmhouse retreat had amazing views across the countryside, with lots of space to relax inside and out. We really enjoyed the saltwater pool, hot tub and games room. They kept everyone happy, and the well-equipped kitchen made cooking easy.
Doug and Kiki were super nice and quick to help, making us feel welcome by being flexible with our group size. The guidebook they provided gave us solid tips on dining and things to do in Cobourg and Port Hope. The place was clean when we got there, and the guidebook was handy for figuring out the house’s quirks.
We had a blast unwinding and soaking in the peaceful vibe, highly recommend it for anyone wanting a cozy rural escape. We’d definitely come back!

Bickle Hill is an absolutely wonderful property! Truly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The house is gorgeous, the rooms are spacious, and the whole space is very well appointed. The grounds are incredible and the games room kept our kids busy for hours on end. We spent many perfect afternoons by the pool, followed by dinner on the beautiful deck. On a clear day, the view to Lake Ontario is stunning. I could not have dreamed up a better place to spend a week with family.

Really nice, newly renovated, clean apartment, with everything you might need. We stayed with our two kids and they even have a high chair for the little one. Doug and Kiki are really friendly and proactive in their communication. We left a small toy behind and the they were kind enough to drop it off at my sister's house.

The place was beautiful and matched exactly the way it is conveyed. We really enjoyed the stay and looking forward to come back and stay. The host was always responsive and the surrounding is great. Recommend people for a getaway to peaceful weekend.

Stayed at Doug and Kiki’s place for a weekend getaway with some girlfriends. The place was beautiful and looked exactly like the photos. The outdoor area has lots of room, lush gardens and shade. We loved the pool. Thanks for the stay!

Great stay, they weren’t lying about the kitchen it really is set up nice, very spacious and very clean and attention to detail like Q tips in all the bathrooms. A lot of spaces just leave you with barely the minimum but this place stands out loved it and would recommend.

Lovely stay and great for families with kids. Spent a day lounging in the pool, playing lawn games , catching up and singing along while playing the piano in the study room
